Spirituality, Mysticism and Religion

For me the three terms lead pretty much to the same place.  But then, that's personal.  Generally, the word religion takes you to one of the prominent religions of the world (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism...) and that's the reason I'd rather avoid that term.  For me, religion goes back to its etymological meaning... (re- re- + ligāre to bind, tie) ... with God.
Spirituality and mysticism then are the means for achieving this end.  I prefer spirituality, since it says it as it is.  Mysticism just tells us it is a mystery... no help!

What readers can expect here is a search for the means to get there.  What it means to me, what I have learnt from saints of all religions (sic) and times and climes.  I do believe practicing spirituality eventually must touch every aspect of life: work, liesure and pleasure.  So we would be touching all of these.

I will be quoting from sources like The Bhagavad Gita,  The Bible, The Upanishads, The Granth Sahib, the Gnostic, Sufi and Buddhist literature and authors like Sankaracharya, St. John, St. Paul, Sant Kabir, Guru Nanak, Moulana Rumi, Shams Tabriz, Acharya Rajneesh, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Maharaj Sawan Singh and Maharaj Charan Singh.
Hope you conenct with this...
